CocoFlix respects the intellectual property rights of others, and we expect the same in return. This page explains how copyright holders can ask us to remove material from cocoflixapk.net.in under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and how you can respond if you believe your material was removed by mistake.
Our Copyright Policy
We do not host the CocoFlix APK, films, television episodes, or any other media files on our servers. Everything on this site consists of original guides, descriptions, and screenshots written by our team, along with links that point to files and pages hosted elsewhere on the internet. If you believe that anything on this site infringes your copyright, we will act promptly on valid, complete notices.
Filing a Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright holder (or authorised to act on behalf of one) and you believe that material on this site infringes your rights, you may send us a DMCA takedown notice. Please email your notice to [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice”. We review notices in the order we receive them and aim to act within a few business days.
What to Include in Your Notice
For your notice to be valid under the DMCA, it must include the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed — or, if several works are involved, a representative list of them.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the exact URL or URLs on cocoflixapk.net.in where it appears, so we can locate it without delay.
- Your full name, postal address, telephone number, and email address so we can contact you about the notice.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Notices that are missing any of these elements may be returned to you for completion, which will delay any action we can take.
How We Handle Notices
When we receive a complete and valid notice, we review the identified material and, where appropriate, remove it or disable access to it promptly. We may also inform the party who supplied the material about the removal. Because we do not host APK or media files ourselves, in many cases the appropriate step is to remove or update the link in question. We keep a record of all notices we receive for our files.
Filing a Counter-Notice
If you believe that material you provided was removed or disabled by mistake or because of misidentification, you may send us a counter-notice at [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA Counter-Notice”. Your counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the URL where it previously appeared.
- Your full name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts in your location for any legal proceedings relating to the notice.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will forward a valid counter-notice to the original complainant. If they do not notify us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the material, we may restore it.
Repeat Infringers
We take repeated infringement seriously. Contributors or users who repeatedly post infringing material may have their access restricted or terminated, at our discretion and in line with our Terms of Service.
Misrepresentation Warning
Please note that the DMCA provides for penalties — including costs and legal fees — against anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification. Do not file a notice or counter-notice unless you genuinely believe the facts you are stating.
Contact for Copyright Matters
